This beautiful park has about 3,000 acres of mature woods, dunes, a big sandy beach, and more than 4 miles of shoreline. Dogs are welcome with no additional pet cost, but they must be up to date on their immunizations and rabies injections. Make sure your dog is wearing identification at all times.

Dogs can't swim so the best thing to do if you get in trouble in the water is find someone who can help you out. There are lifeguards present during summer months and they may call for assistance if needed.
