This professional pet picture shoot will focus on your pet as they interact with the rescued dolphins at Clearwater Marine Aquarium via our new underwater windows. Two visitors may accompany each pet, but they will not be photographed. One more pet may be added in each photo session for an additional charge. Pets must be under 15 pounds to ride the elevator down to the aquarium floor.
Make sure to ask about specific instructions before you head out to clearwatermarina.com/pet-photos to book your session!
You can't bring your own food or drink into the aquarium, so be sure to plan ahead if you want to bring your four-legged friend along for the experience!

At SeaWorld Orlando, the custom of feeding dolphins in a petting area has come to an end. Visitors may still pet dolphins, but they can no longer entice them with $7 fish platters. Instead, people may purchase packages that involve stroking the dolphins and taking photographs with them under the supervision of a trainer. These packages are available daily at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
The decision to stop giving food to the dolphins was made after several incidents where guests had taken advantage of the program by eating the provided snacks. Also, since the custom of offering food has ended, so has the need for a groomer to bathe the animals.
Here are the rules when visiting SeaWorld:
• Children must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 18 years old. Young children cannot be left alone in any area of the park. The only exception is at the Ocean View Pool where there is a small water playground for children younger than 13 years old.
• Guests using a wheelchair must be able to transfer into the vehicle safely. Some parks may provide special entrances or elevators for wheelchair users. Speak to a park staff member before you make your trip to find out more information about accessibilty.
• Make sure to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat from November to March.
The dolphins and sea lions dwell in seawater lagoons that are completely natural. We provide narrated behavior sessions with dolphins from several social groupings. There's always something interesting to observe, from entertaining facts to playing, research to husbandry instruction! In the Florida Keys, you may meet a dolphin! In addition to our waterfront tours, you can see marine mammals in captivity at the Miami Seaquarium and Atlantis Paradise Island. Both venues feature Atlantic Ocean habitats where you can watch dolphins swim by.
Dolphins are aquatic mammals that belong to the cetacean family. They are known for their large brain-to-body ratio compared to other animals, and they use this powerful organ to interpret sounds and understand things about their environment. Dolphins are also unique among mammals for having a flexible spine that allows them to turn its head completely around.
They differ from other cetaceans (such as whales) by being more active underwater for longer periods of time. This is because dolphins use sound to communicate and navigate, and so they must spend much of their time listening and looking around to find others of their species and to locate food.
Although they appear to be just another fish in an aquarium, the dolphin remains aloof from humans. It will approach the glass if it wants something but only does so out of curiosity. Otherwise, it would be left alone.
Whether you join in on our dolphins' fun shallow water antics or witness their speed and agility firsthand in deeper seas, you will have an amazing experience. Swimming with dolphins has been redefined at Dolphin Cay Atlantis. These intelligent creatures are able to identify individual humans (and also other animals) through touch alone. That's right; no nets required!
You can choose how close you want to get with these playful mammals. If you're feeling brave, jump in the water with them! However, if you'd like to keep your distance, that's okay too. There are several ways to enjoy this unique opportunity without getting wet. You can take a glass-bottom boat ride or hop in an air-conditioned coach for a scenic tour of the ocean. Either way, you'll see plenty of cool marine life along the way!
Dolphin encounters at Atlantis Bahamas are available daily at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. Please call ahead to make sure there is someone available at those times. The boats depart from in front of the Royal Palace hotel room block.
There is a charge for this activity. Prices vary depending on the time of day and length of your cruise.
