When is National Bf Day?

Every year on October 3rd, National Boyfriend Day is observed as an unofficial holiday in which individuals can spend time with their significant others. The day was created by Shaunti Feldhahn, author of "The Good Girl's Guide to Love & Sex". It has since become a popular day for singles to meet up with their boyfriend or girlfriend.

How did we get from the original concept to observing it as an official holiday? In 2005, Shaunti Feldhahn introduced National Boyfriend Day as a way for people to have more positive relationships with their partners. She described it as a day for couples to show their love and appreciation for one another. As she mentioned during her presentation, there are already several holidays that exist to celebrate romance and friendship so why not add relationship awareness to this list as well? So, she proposed October 3rd as the date for this new holiday because it marks the end of summer and the beginning of school sports seasons. Students will be playing football then so this will be a fun day for all involved.

After hearing about this idea, many people asked if it was possible to make another holiday in addition to Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. So, Ms. Feldhahn decided to write a book about how relationships can be improved.

Is today National BF Day?

National Boyfriend Day is observed on October 3rd. It's a day to show your partner how much you appreciate him. National Boyfriend Day encourages everyone who has a boyfriend to appreciate that special someone and how they make your life better. Whether he's your husband, boyfriend, friend, or brother, thank them for their presence in your life.

The first National Boyfriend Day was held in 2010 by the website www.nationalboyfriendday.com. The site's creator, Jessica O'Connell, created the holiday to celebrate the men in her life: her father and two husbands. Since then, other websites have adopted the idea and now share the responsibility of declaring October 3rd as National Boyfriend Day.

Why do we need a national day to praise boyfriends? Many people feel that marriage and relationships are too serious for silly days like this one, but I think that showing support for those who are important in our lives is very important. Sometimes couples get so focused on each other that they forget about everything else around them. This year on National Boyfriend Day, take time to remember all the men in your life who've been with you through good times and bad, friends and enemies. Take time to tell them how much they mean to you.

What is National Boyfriend Day?

On October 3rd, National Boyfriend Day honors the love of your life. This day, like special days for family members, is dedicated to the guys in our life. Whether the relationship is fresh or long-standing, partners provide a certain dimension to our lives. They make us laugh, they fight with us, sometimes they even frustrate the hell out of us, but they're always there. So on this day, take time to think about all the boyfriends (and girlfriends) who have helped shape your life.

Why do people celebrate National Boyfriend Day?

People honor their boyfriends on this day because it's a chance to thank them for being part of their lives. Sometimes it can be difficult to show we appreciate someone so we use events like National Boyfriend Day to let them know that they matter to us. It may not be money that they need, but maybe just some time to talk about what's going on in their lives. Either way, these men deserve our appreciation because without them, our lives would be very different!
