Mopping with a Sweeper Dusting the bathrooms and bedrooms (making beds, putting away things) Organizing dwelling spaces Windows on the inside Closet and cabinet organization House sitting for pets Dog bathing basics (as an add-on to regular house cleaning) Lesa's visit is my favorite day of the week. I enjoy getting home from work every night to find my house cleaned up and put away just like I left it! After coming home from a long day at work, I love having a clean and tidy house to come back to.
Monday: This is not a good day for housekeeping professionals because it is the start of the weekly cycle. Therefore, companies do not require any special arrangements off on Monday mornings. Most people who work full time will know that there are only two days per week where they can get away with not working out. These are either Saturday or Sunday. Otherwise, they will need to make some arrangement with their employer to set aside certain days off each week.
Tuesday: This is another bad day for housekeepers because it is the start of the next week and therefore, companies expect employees to be available to work. Thus, they will not give them any extra hours or promotions because they have to keep their workforce small. The exception to this rule would be if there is a major crisis in which case everyone will be asked to stay after their normal shift to help out.
Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, organizing, washing, polishing, and many other duties are part of my everyday routine. In addition to cleaning, I have supported families with home sitting and pet care. I am a good listener and will respect your home as if it were my own.

A housekeeper can handle a variety of tasks for which you may not have the time or aptitude. Housekeepers can visit your house on a per-visit basis and charge you according on whether you own an apartment, townhome, or large home.
Making the beds, cleaning the toilet, wiping down the shower (a thorough bathroom clean is done once a week), cleaning the kitchen surfaces and hob, sweeping the kitchen floor, clearing away any debris every evening, and putting soiled clothing in the laundry bin. Well. That's just about everything you need to know for keeping your home clean.
There are many more things that could be on this list, but these are the most important ones to start with. From there, you can add other tasks as they come up. You don't have to do them all at once either - take it one step at a time and you'll get there soon enough!
The most important thing is that you feel comfortable living in your home and knowing that it's clean. If you've only got a small place and you're used to living in a big apartment, then try not to make the space too cramped. A clean house doesn't mean that you need to spend a lot of money - simply use cheap options where possible. For example, if you normally buy brand-name dishes but have a garage sale and buy some secondhand ones instead, you'll be able to save money without feeling like you're giving up on quality.
Have fun choosing what jobs you want to do!
Tuesday is an excellent day for cleaning the floors. Sweep, mop, or vacuum on Tuesday, paying extra attention to high-traffic areas such as the entryway, stairs, mudroom, and kitchen. If time allows, you should also work on the family room and bedrooms. On Tuesday, you'll also want to do another load of washing.
Wednesday is a good day for cleaning the bathroom. Clean the tub, sink, and toilet on Wednesday. If there's no other laundry to be done, then wash the clothes on Wednesday.
Thursday is a good day for cleaning the kitchen. Clean the counters, stove, refrigerator, and all other kitchen surfaces on Thursday. If you have time, it would be helpful if you cleaned out the cupboards too.
Friday is a good day for cleaning the house. Clean the entire house from top to bottom Friday. You should start in the living room and work your way through the house finishing up with the basement or garage. If you have time, go ahead and do the yard too!
Saturday is a good day for cleaning the car. When you get your car washed on Saturday, they will use a special sponge to get into those hard-to-reach places like under the seats and between the wheels. You can't get these spots clean any other way so don't try to save time by skipping this step.
